Midwife music, obstetric bands and labour songs!

There was a hilarious trending topic this weekend on Twitter where people were posting famous songs with the artist and/or the song title changed to put a funny spin on things that those who are Midwifes, or have worked in an Obstetrics / Labour ward setting would appreciate.

I certainly had fun submitting a couple of these, and just as much – if not more – in reading them as they showed up in my twitter feed!

I wanted to make sure that these were documented somewhere because in the past some excellent Twitter hashtag trending topics – such as the touching and very informative #medicalstudentmilestones topic – disappear from existence after a few months due to the twitter API only allowing users to search a limited number of weeks back in time.

Anyway, here are the #midwifemusic Songs and Band names, mostly adjusted with a midwifery and obstetric spin!
